Celebrating 40 years in 2025!
Founded in 1985, DCH provides donated furniture and household goods to those in need, free of charge.
Families and individuals moving from shelter to permanent housing, victims of natural disaster, Veterans, those fleeing domestic violence, DCF reunification, elders, and people on a fixed income can all be referred to the DCH by a qualifying social service agency.
Since its inception, the DCH has assisted more than 12,500 people with the items needed to make a house a home.
