Speaker’s Bureau

CMHA works with those who have directly experienced homelessness or been impacted by the lack of affordable housing and related issues of poverty in our community. We welcome participation in the speaker's bureau.

One of our goals this year is to engage more members of the community to speak about issues surrounding homelessness and affordable housing. We want to hear not only from those who have been affected, but also those who work closely with individuals and families. Concerned members of the community who want to speak about these issues are also welcome.

Including more individuals in the advocacy process will help us gain exposure across Worcester County and beyond. By bringing a face to the issues, they can offer constructive suggestions on how to change certain aspects of the system.

This can be accomplished through the media, making phone calls to Legislators, taking trips to the State House, and involving other members of the community to do the same.

If you have faced these issues, call and get involved.: (508) 752-5519

We would be happy to come and speak to your civic organization, congregation or association with a speaker who can better educate your members and put a face to homelessness.
