Leah Bradley
Chief Executive Officer
Leah Bradley, LCSW earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Worcester State University and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut. She worked with families and individuals experiencing homelessness in the City of Worcester for over 15 years including service provision for those with psychiatric and substance use disorders along with overseeing subsidized housing for persons with disabilities. During this tenure she co-led one of the first programs in Massachusetts that integrated primary care into its behavioral health clinic. She was also part of the collaborative effort to reduce chronic homelessness in the City of Worcester to a functional zero, receiving recognition from the U.S. Department of HUD to be the first small city to achieve this goal.
Ms. Bradley furthered her career at Baystate Wing Hospital working on addressing social determinants of health and integrating behavioral health services into the medical services. She oversaw inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, Rehab, Pulmonology, Heart and Vascular imaging, Neurodiagnostics, Lab and Radiology. During her tenure, she led a team that reduced readmissions by 70% for the target population over a 2-year period in addition to leading a system-wide anti-stigma campaign for substance use disorders.
Ms. Bradley is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Central Massachusetts Housing Alliance, Inc., a non-profit whose mission is to create a collaborative response to homelessness that fosters long-term housing stability through prevention, quality services, education and advocacy. CMHA is the lead agency for homelessness planning throughout Worcester County overseeing the Continuum of Care process, tracking trends and providing needs assessments and gaps analyses. She began in this role in September of 2020 expanding the organization’s planning efforts in the northern and southern parts of the County. CMHA provides homelessness prevention services and family shelter services along with an education and advocacy arm that is core to its mission.
